Just days after Michel Gondry announced he is working on an adaptation of Philip K. Dick's novel Ubik, news comes from The Hollywood Reporter that the Green Hornet director has been confirmed as the head of the short film and Cinéfondation jury at this year's Cannes film festival.
Gondry and his as-yet-unannounced jury will present the Palme d'Or for best short film at the festival's closing ceremonies on May 22. On May 22, though, the same jury will present the prizes to the three winners of the Cinéfondation competition.
This year's festival runs May 11 - 22.
